NextGen Leadership (formerly Capital Career Coaching) was founded in 2008 by Lisa (Solomon) Krull to support young professionals and aspiring leaders in achieving their career ambitions. Today, NextGen Leadership serves as a trusted partner to entry-level through C-suite clients on the journey to create positive change for themselves and/or their organizations.
Meet Lisa
Lisa Krull is a Leadership and Career Coach supporting individuals in enhancing their leadership skills and achieving their career ambitions. Leveraging positive psychology, she utilizes a strengths-based approach to help clients gain clarity and progress toward their desired future as professionals and leaders. Lisa has a reputation for quickly building trust with clients and posing the powerful questions that shift perspective and expand possibilities. She believes that authenticity and inclusivity are the core values that will set the next generation of leaders apart, fostering greater workplace satisfaction and organizational commitment.
Prior to discovering her passion for coaching, Lisa spent more than 10 years as a Human Capital Consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton, where she created and delivered solutions for public sector clients in the areas of leadership development, training, competency management, career development, and federal human resources and staffing. Her early consulting career taught her valuable communication skills—such as mastering the art of active listening—vital to impactful coaching.
Lisa holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Economics from Clark University. She earned her Certificate in Leadership Coaching from The George Washington University and Academy Certified Resume Writer (ACRW) credential from the Resume Writing Academy. Lisa is qualified to administer a variety of 360-degree leadership assessments, personal brand surveys, and career inventories, including The Leadership Circle Profile, the Korn Ferry 360, 360Reach, and the Strong Interest Inventory. She is a member of the International Coach Federation and upholds its Code of Ethics.
